Merger

[edit]
  • Disagree with proposed merger - there are independent pages for the H-Body, G-Body, and W-Body, so why not the A-Body. Indeed, the A-Body page has two sub-pages for each drivetrain layout (FWD and RWD). Guroadrunner 22:19, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Since nobody else has chimed in on the merger, I'm taking the tags down. It makes sense to leave the pages separate, especially since a merger would essentially orphan the two subpages and make the A-Body the only one without its own page. Jaye 02:52, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RWD B body list

[edit]

The B/D body list has several models that I believe don't belong, namely the Buick Electra and LeSabre. The articles for these cars do not list either the B- or D-body as a platform, so I'm removing these models. I can verify by the way that the Impala, Caprice, and Buick Roadmaster are B-Bodies according to GM's 1996 B-Body Field Service Manual. --Zippy (talk) 20:40, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reinstating Buick LeSabre - article does list B-Body. --Zippy (talk) 20:43, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Holden

[edit]

Does anyone know where Holdens fit into this Platorm? All the other GM brands have a column, but i am not sure which cars holden make fit with each platorm —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.161.21.238 (talk) 09:29, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Added Cadillac Eldorado

[edit]

Eldorado added as an E-body car. -motorfingers- (talk) 10:53, 6 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Vauxhall

[edit]

Should there be at least a mention of British car brand Vauxhall here? I believe it has been a GM brand as long as Opel. Mike Doverskog (talk) 23:07, 14 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Template:GM platforms

[edit]

I've nominated the unused template Template:GM platforms for deletion. It contains content that may be relevant to this article, although from a brief skim (I'm not a car person) this article looks to be far more detailed than the content there. User:GKFXtalk 11:29, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
