Problems with the article.[edit]

1. The majority of historians agree that the Macedonian Empire did not invade Georgia.I have many books on the history of Georgia, and nothing is written about the Battle of Artaan in them.

2. Ottomans invaded Tao-Klarjeti and Batumi in 1921, not Guria.

3. Georgia could not take Tskhinvali after the siege and it was handed over to the separatists under the Sochi Treaty.

4. The Republic of South Ossetia and its flag did not exist in 1918.

5. Where are the sources on the battles of Pshavi, Tusheti, Mestia? It is not even written about them in the Georgian Wikipedia.

I'm too lazy to write about the rest. 149.3.83.160 (talk) 19:20, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like many minor, insignificant or not well-defined events are added in the article which can not be really described as "battles". Many would need to be removed. There is a difference between a battle and just an attack or skirmish.Silveresc (talk) 01:33, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I completely agree with you, also one user is still adding wrong information about the siege of Tskhinvali 149.3.83.160 (talk) 17:13, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't help that the vast majority of this page is unsourced. 20:40, 12 October 2023 (UTC) Annwfwn (talk) 20:40, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
In the article on November 8, an anonymous user entered incorrect information and did not indicate the source.

I might not be Creator, But ill tell you first one only.
  1. Battle of Artaani - Battle of Artaan is Considered One of the Greatest battles in Georgian history, I don't even know how you didn't find them. I got some old books like L. (Levan) Sanikidze's "წიგნი მოწამეთა" Which was published in 1991, or "დედა ისტორია" (1992). Both of them says that Battle of Artaan existed. I got some Newest Books too. Like "საქართველოს დიდი ბრძოლები" (2009), "ყველა დროის 100 უდიდესი ქართველი" (2008) And more. Also, The name of "Artaan" at the time was called as "kajta kalaki" (Georgian:ქაჯთა ქალაქი) so maybe That's the problem. Also, Battle of Artaani isn't even Written in Georgian Wikipedia.
I am sorry that I didn't Explained it When you wrote the first one. Imakewikipedianpages (talk) 12:31, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The first one is sourced. The most helpful thing you and @Caucasian127 can do is add sources when you add battles. Otherwise it looks like you are making up stuff. You want to be credible when you add things. Annwfwn (talk) 12:15, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I haven't really added anything. if you are talking about Why I changed "Russian rebellion (1812)" to "Russo-Georgian war (1812)" is wroten in "Talk:List of Georgian battles: Revision history" Imakewikipedianpages (talk) 16:14, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
