Notes

[edit]

This note appeared on the article page and I'm not sure if it was meant to be removed when moving from userspace or what, but it doesn't really belong in the article, so I moved it here.

This article will replace:
*List of current Magic Kingdom attractions
*List of past Magic Kingdom attractions
*Magic Kingdom entertainment history

References

[edit]

Should the references/external links used to create some of original pages be moved here too? --Napnet 17:21, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think maybe references for attractions that don't have their own pages would be fine, what kind of references did you think about moving here? --blm07 17:28, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Probably the ones on the original page since there was a list of them i used to compile the original list when I started it. --Napnet 17:41, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Go ahead, I'm gonna add a reference that I used (Walt Dated World). --blm07 17:58, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Done.. mainly used WDWMagic.com and WDWHistory.com for references --Napnet 03:56, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

incorrect opening?

[edit]

The opening paragraph states "Here is a list of the current attractions found therein", yet the article has present and past items. Which should it be? Also, does this article duplicate the giant master Attraction chart that covers all the Disney parks? Seems to be superfluous if it does. I say "merge 'em!!!" Tomorrowland Theater Dates?

[edit]

Something's not right with the dates of the Tomorrowland theater shows. I'm pretty sure that Galaxy Search opened later than 1992 and ran until about 1998 or so. I'm afraid that I don't know the exact dates, though. I also don't believe that DisneyMania! even ran at this theater--I'm pretty sure it was a forecourt show. I think the dates are wrong for DisneyMania! too. I was under the impression that DisneyWorld is Your World was a forecourt show too...but I'm less sure about that. Not Much "History"

[edit]

There isn't much about the history of Magic Kingdom attractions. 173.188.2.159 (talk) 22:11, 31 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Attractions Affected by the Fantasyland Expansion in the Magic Kingdom

[edit]

Since the recent announcement on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, regarding the Fantasyland expansion in the Magic Kingdom, the names of new attractions coming as part of the expansion have been added, along with dates of when these attractions will open. Closing/reopening dates have also been added to attractions that will be affected by the expansion. As the updates are much appreciated, sometimes the improper dates or names are mistakenly added or changed. I believe I have corrected all existing errors, as well as added citations. Before changing these, please reference this posting on the Disney Parks Blog for more information on the Fantasyland expansion.

Also, I have removed the Storytime with Belle attraction from the listing because, according to this posting on the Disney Parks Blog, the final show was on September 12, 2010.

Thanks! --Jclavet (talk) 23:56, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
