Excessively long list[edit]

This article is excessively long. I've broken the earlier section into a new page to manage the length, as the newer issues will naturally continue to grow. TheClashFan (talk) 00:19, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. MegX (talk) 00:24, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What To Do?[edit]

Should the article be put into a table? Categories being issue number, date, artist and additional infomation? This would take sometime to complete, however I feel it would be worth the effort.(86.160.198.158 (talk) 20:03, 11 May 2008 (UTC))[reply]

It would double the length of the existing page, making it slow and unworkable. TheClashFan (talk) 01:54, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

I just corrected some of the 2007 and all of the 2008 dates. All of them were wrong. If somebody could correct the rest of the 2007 dates and maybe earlier? I will be also be putting every new issue in the day it comes. --Flashflash; 21:43, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sock puppetry[edit]

The AfD linked at the top of this page, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of NME covers, ending in no consensus was compromised by sock puppetry. The user who made the nomination, User:Artyline, was determined to be a likely sock puppet of one of the commenters in the AfD, User:Cradleofrock. In turn, these were likely sock puppets of a banned user evading his ban. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 03:29, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dates[edit]

Why do we have mid-week dates listed rather than the date on each issue (Saturday)? Very confusing. --Michig (talk) 19:09, 29 December 2012 (UTC) I know the issues usually appear in the shops on a Wednesday, but they often come out earlier to subscribers. The 5 January issue (2 January in this list) dropped today, and there certainly wasn't an issue that hit the shops on Christmas day. --Michig (talk) 19:13, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
