Episode Links
[edit]Given the availability via the RT site, I have to wonder if it is appropriate linking the episodes here. Part of me says, "no", but I cannot justify it. KyuuA4 (Talk:キュウ) 22:10, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
- I also think to myself whether they should or not, I personally think they would be considerably helpful, alike to the linked episodes on Epic Rap Battles of History, it proves their existence, characters and length and in RWBYs case its lotline and the credits are also valuable for casting. Also the season is completely uploaded to YouTube now so we could cite those videos as well/instead. - SilentDan297 talk 16:37, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
Basic Guide to episode summaries
[edit]About 4-5 lines, unless there is good reason to go longer. Conciseness is key. Wordiness is a detriment. KyuuA4 (Talk:キュウ) 09:01, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
Is RWBY Machinima?
[edit]A Machinima is the use of real-time computer graphics, such as ones used in games, in order to create a cinematic production, as far as I'm aware RWBY is NOT based in any video game and is created using specialist software for creating 3D animations. Someone reverted my edit and added it to the machinima catagory because as he/she quoted "Despite its name, the template is for all of Rooster Teeth's filmography. Note how most of the links in the template are not to machinima." so basically to this person all Rooster Teeth production's are Machinima based, which is not true at all, they do skits and such productions like "The Slow Mo Guys" which are not Michinima. - SilentDan297 talk 17:46, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
RWBY Chibi
[edit]Can we add RWBY Chibi to the episode list? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vesperia08 (talk • contribs) 19:31, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, it's there. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:07, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Crunchyroll episodes
[edit]On Crunchyroll they combined the episodes to make standard length (or as close to it as possible) episodes. For example, episode 1 on Crunchyroll is the first 3 episodes combined. How should this information be noted in the article? Do we list which episodes make up which Crunchyroll episode? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.183.2.187 (talk) 18:18, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- They're not the original format, so no, the episodes do not need to be reformatted to meet the Crunchyroll version, but a note can be added about how it is presented on other channels such as home media. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:33, 9 October 2017 (UTC)
- The Beginning (not the Crunchyroll version! This was how it was aired in Japan, too!) is just the broadcast version of vols. 1 to 3 for Japanese audiences. The home releases kept the original format and all the scenes. I do remember that volume 1 was rearranged into 10 episodes to even out the episode length in the Japanese home releases though. lullabying (talk) 12:44, 10 December 2017 (UTC)

- Do we even need summaries for World of Remnant if all they do is explain a concept in the series? lullabying (talk) 02:29, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, might as well, since they are packaged like short episodes. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 02:31, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
- The regular episodes are sufficiently short at this time. Thanks for the efforts on those. World of Remnant ones need trimming. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:28, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
Volume 6 - edit notes
[edit]Minor matter to bring up, but should we continue using Maria's full name in the V6 descriptions post-Ep 1? She seems pretty well-established for the volume's cast, and it could trim at least a small bit for each description to not include the last name all the time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:6C44:880:DD2:CDC6:EF47:9A6C:5FBE (talk) 04:53, 10 December 2018 (UTC)
