Kriegstoppabots[edit]

What exactly are the robots called that Pericles controls in "The Midnight Zone"? I'm borderline WP:3RR on the question with an IP and we need to settle this. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 03:25, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aliens Among Us[edit]

Why Isn't anyone adding the episode 16 entitled "Aliens Among Us" on January 27? Could someone please add one... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.107.100.245 (talk) 09:00, 21 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Because there's no reliable source to back up that episode's airdate. The only source I've yet seen in MSN TV, which is the least reliable site you can possibly source. Look at their list of episodes for Season 1 -- not only do they have far too many episodes (33 as opposed to the 26 actually aired), but some are in the wrong order and some don't even exist. When the Cicada Calls[edit]

I'd like to request that someone please edit this episode's listing to include a note stating it pays homage to the Japanese mystery/horror series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (When the Cicadas Cry). Sunsetsred (talk) 20:11, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just so long as the episodes remain hidden until they air in the U.S. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 00:26, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The remainder of Season 2[edit]

Perhaps I should clarify my latest edit summary on this article -- what it should have said was we should keep the remainder of Season 2 hidden until they air. To explain further, if content is "hidden," it isn't removed completely, it's just hidden from view unless you're in edit more. In this case, the reason for keeping the forthcoming episodes hidden is to keep the article looking as nice and tidy as we can -- there's no reason for us to have episodes listed here if their listings are going to be mostly empty boxes. That takes up space and makes the entire article look unfinished.

That said, I have left Episodes 42 and 43 visible, and more will be revealed as they air in the States. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 04:09, 2 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please just re lock this wiki Black Yoshi RupanIII —Preceding undated comment added 04:50, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I would, but since some of these guys are probably autoconfirmed (meaning they've made at least ten edits and therefore can edit a semi-protected page), that would require me to request that the page be protected fully, which usually doesn't happen unless there's a content dispute. Even then, we'd have to consider dispute resolution first. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 12:49, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Why is the information regarding the final episodes of this series being hidden from view? In addition to every title episode being confirmed by the series creator, there are also air dates for episode 42-47. At least one of them has already aired in another country, which gives even more info that can be put in. Silver Buizel (talk) 21:06, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Because it's been agreed between myself and a few other editors in the past to keep those episodes hidden until they air in the States. Besides, it keeps the table looking nice and tidy and avoids unnecessary rows of empty boxes. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 01:38, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Can you point towards a policy that would allow the information not to be posted? Since these episode titles are already available on the internet, and given that Wikipedia is a repository of information, it would seem appropriate to post them in the episodes page. Silver Buizel (talk) 19:01, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
WP:CRYSTALBALL Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 19:16, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
WP:CRYSTALBALL states "Wikipedia is not a collection of unverifiable speculation. All articles about anticipated events must be verifiable," and "Predictions, speculation, forecasts and theories stated by reliable, expert sources or recognized entities in a field may be included." As some of these episodes have already aired in other parts of the world, the policy doesn't apply. In addition, as the episodes have already been confirmed by the producer of the show, the "recognized entities in a field" portion has been satisfied. If you're protecting in the interest of WP:SPOILER, please be aware that, according to the policy, "It is not acceptable to delete information from an article because you think it spoils the plot." I also understand there's some concern over the presence of empty boxes, but again, some information has been released on the episodes. The plot of Aliens Among Us has been revealed as having the gang investigating claims made by Sheriff Stone over alien abductions. The Horrible Herd involves a herd of mutated skull cattle as the monster of the week. Dance of the Undead features a Ska group by the name of "Rude Boy and the Ska-Tastics" coming back from the dead and making people dance forever. It also features another appearance of Hex Girls. The Devouring features the return of character Rick Spartan, the Monster of the Week being "The Gluttonous Monster" as well as the identity of the person behind the costume. That's sufficient enough information to include. Silver Buizel (talk) 23:28, 9 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
It has been agreed between myself and at least two other editors to keep those episodes hidden until they air in the States. "Hidden" does not mean they're not there, it just means they're not showing. You can see them in edit mode. That's how we've done it on this page in the past. See this discussion. Season 2 Episodes[edit]

I'm interested in reviving the discussion as to whether or not to include information pertaining to the remaining episodes in the franchise. Other users have expressed an interest in listing the episodes. An opinion/consensus had been previously reached, but certain things have changed since the period of that discussion. While there was only a confirmed premiere date that was consistently pushed back before, the names of the remaining episodes have been confirmed. As far as we know, the premiere dates have been confirmed by the producer of the show. Some of these episodes have already been broadcast in other countries, which means there's enough information out there to put in the boxes. I understand there was a concern regarding empty boxes filled with TBA, but there is sufficient to include in the episode list. Silver Buizel (talk) 06:16, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mayhap we could include the first two, since we know when they'll air, and reveal more as they air. My concern is violating WP:NOTTVGUIDE, which is one of the reasons why I don't reveal all of those episodes at once. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 12:41, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I was actually interested in listing the episodes for which information exists. The next four episodes, "Aliens Among Us", "The Horrible Herd", "Dance of the Undead" and "The Devouring", have sufficient enough information to be included in the episode guide. As of right now, the two episodes after "The Devouring", "Stand and Deliver" and "The Man in the Mirror" have had their air dates confirmed. The last five episodes of the show had had their titles confirmed, but their air dates are TBA as of right now. Silver Buizel (talk) 00:02, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We can do that as they air in the States. Just reveal them one at a time as the next episode airs, so there are always two more than have aired. That way we can keep the table clean. If not for WP:NOTTVGUIDE, I would say reveal all of that. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 00:32, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
What part of the policy are you trying to invoke? I've read the policy and do not see where it applies to the episode list. 1. Does Not Apply, 2-5 & 7. Is not applicable. 6. Would only apply to listing an actual catalogue of the changes involved in the project. I understand the main concern is not cluttering up the page, which is why the proposal to list only the four episodes was put forth. There's also no violation in established policy by listing future episodes of a franchise within its episode page. Silver Buizel (talk) 02:46, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies -- a misunderstanding on my part. It was the bit that said Wikipedia is not an electronic program guide that had me worried, but if that applied as I think it did, we wouldn't have episode lists here. The problem was that having too many episodes revealed that have not aired has led to unsourced changes bordering vandalism on the main page in the past, and I'd like to avoid that. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 12:59, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
That's why listing four episodes, as opposed to the remaining eleven, would be a feasible solution. There's enough available information to include these episodes in the list. Silver Buizel (talk) 18:51, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
So long as we don't reveal more than that until they begin airing in the States, I'm fine with that. Black Yoshi (Yoshi! | Yoshi's Eggs) 18:58, 12 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Pericles is possessed[edit]

In the episode Stand and Deliver, an Annunaki inhabits Nova's body to tell Scooby that the treasure must be destroyed. So similarly, Pericles was possessed by the sentient that dwells in the sarcophagus under Crystal Cove. Which is why Pericles wants to free it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yahoo17 (talkcontribs) 17:13, 31 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
