'With A Chance Of Dating' or 'Sonny With A Chance Of Dating'?

The TV Guide says it's called 'With A Chance Of Dating' but msn.com calls it 'Sonny With A Chance Of Dating'. Since they're both used as sources, which one would be more accurate? Babygirl57 (talk) 17:28, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

TV Guide is the source being used in the article now and is generally the most accurate. IMDB agrees with TV Guide. I am uncertain where msn.com gets its information. I know TV Guide gets an official data feed from the networks. Sometimes guides take information from casting plans and episode titles sometimes change before broadcast is schedule. MSN.com may be using an old version of the title. Titan TV matches TV Guide. Tivo matches msn.com. We generally use TV Guide as the primary reference for episode titles by default. Right now it is uncertain what the actual name is but whatever is in the article needs to be referenced. --NrDg 17:59, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

It is accurate but hard for people who don't get DirecTV to verify. I have a DirecTV TiVo and I did see that the episode info shows 'Sonny With a Chance of Dating' as the title. --NrDg 19:48, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

Title allusions

I'm probably seeing things, so I'm not putting it up, but I've noticed a few allusions between the titles and famous movies/tv shows. If you notice one I'm missing, fill it in- maybe there actually is a correlation. You have to PROVE that it is accurate. It needs and must have a reference and gossip sites are not acceptable references. Unreferenced future episode info will be deleted from the article as noted by the notice at the top of the edit page. "I think She's Back"

Was this a confirmed episode? Earlier this was on the list of episodes, saying it aired in Disney Channel India, but now it's taken off. the description of the episode was this: The former cast mate Mandy, mentioned in Sketchy Beginnings, returns on vacation to the So Random studio, and her appearance basically a clone of Sonny acting almost exactly the same way she is. The whole cast of So Random starts to ignore Sonny and pay atention to Mandy. Feeling left out of the crew, she takes a walk through the studio and bumps in to Chad. Chad reasures Sonny that she will not take her place and no one could ever do so. Tawni then walks in on them when they are about to kiss. Sorry, but she's really the german voice actress from Sonny. I am the Admin of the site and I've got still contact with her. de:Marieke Oeffinger gave me her email (she speaks Lilly in Hannah Montana) and I came to her over her website. So nobody's "claiming to be connected to the production". They did this episode last Tuesday so she should know what happens in it. OK assuming this is a voice dub of a completed episode we can basically say the info is accurate. Usually we get unusable future episode info from casting sites and live audience reports - generally we can't depend on those because episode details including plot and title can change up until the final cut and production is complete. A voice dub will be using the final cut. If this is added to the article, a web link to the source used needs to be added as a reference to support the info as is required for all future episode info. Since the reference is from a fan site the reference might be challenged but I personally trust your vouching for the accuracy of the reference. HOWEVER the only info that can be supported is the episode summary details - there is no info on episode number, title, broadcast date. I would prefer that at least the title, also supported by a reliable source, be known before adding the episode to the table. --NrDg 19:20, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
The episode cut must be done. If it weren't so the episode wouldn't be done in German. The companies don't let their actors do more work than it's needed. And I asked Annina for the episode title but she couldn't remember it. All she said is the informatione with the talk show and that it's the last episode. A source in the article says there are 22 episodes (when I first added it I thought there were 21) so it has to be number 22. The latest episode is called Hart To Hart and it is premiering on November 1st.

'Sonny in the Middle' from the Sonny's Big Break DVD, airs November 8th ~ JediLiz

The next episode after that is called Cookie Monster and will premiere on November 15th.

msn.tv is not a reliable source because it often has airdates wrong. It has 'Sonny in the Middle' as airing back in MARCH before we even knew about the episode. The Episode's official title is "Hart to Hart". 'Who's the Dummy' is just the promo name, because of Jeff Dunham. I found it on youtube with the promo. Since the HAnnah Montana episode is airing Sunday the 10th, and the SWAC episode was in the promo with it, they must air the same day. The jonas episode was in the promo with sonny with a chance and hannah montana too but it airs january 24th 2010 so i have douts that they will come out at the same time and the hannah montana and jonas episodes are not going to be in a different season like sonny with a chance and they only started filming as of nov. 9th. so i dont think they would air that fast.

I haven't seen the first episode of season two, but I do know that Chad asks Sonny out, because I saw that on Disney Channel. Since everyone knows that, why does some one keep taking it down? It is sorta bugging me, too! I know what is going to happen and so do a lot of other people. If you know for a fact what's gonna happen, then put it up. If you really do need to have a "reliable" source, then there are PLENTY. You can still put it up, no matter where you found it from as long as it is true! I do not know if the sneak peek is still on disneychannel.com because it was there for something from New Year Star Showdown. If it is still there are will give the link. The page is already semi-protected because of this problem. That's the reason no anonymous editors can make changes to it anymore. If registered editors, start, it will just result in the page becoming completely protected. Wouldn't disneychannel.com and Disney Channel be considered a reliable source? Well, the sneak peek is shown there. And if they are considered reliable sources, can't we post what we know from the sneak peek on the episode list? We do know a few things from that. It airs on a Sunday in 2010 (probalby in January, maybe February), that Sonny is watching Mackenzie Falls and the 'So Random!' cast feels as if Sonny is betraying them, and that Chad and Sonny appear to be going out. Since that is what we know from the sneak peek, and disneychannel.com and Disney Channel are relaible sources, can't we post what I mentioned? If it's on disneychannel.com, why can't you provide an exact link to it? That's why it keeps getting taken down: for all of you that are so eager to add it, not one of you can provide an exact link to the information on a reliable site (not YouTube, not sonny-with-a-chance.com, but a site that meets WP:RS). Please to whomever is putting in the summaries, stop it. We don't know what most of the episodes are about, except for "Falling for the Falls". Probably not. Most Sonny fans KNOW that Sonny airs in the 8 Est/7 Central spot. Moving it wouldn't work very well. By the way, the summary for "Sonny get your goat" is way too silly. Most of the summaries are probably not correct unless someone has a reliable reference. "Falling for the Falls" is correct, but until we have a preview or someone gets a copy of the script, we DO NOT have any summaries for the episodes following that one. Please DO NOT create summaries until a promo for the specific episode has been released OR there has been official information released, such as a press release from Disney. The exception being the summary for "Falling for the Falls" which is pretty much factual. The reason for this is because false information was written up for an episode during the 1st season (I think it may have been Sonny in the Middle) making some believe it would happen, but it didn't and the summary had to be rewritten with the actual summary. This is just easier. There is too much "vandalism" going on and we can't have fake episodes or fake summaries floating around. I doubted Poweranimals last November, however, there was a Disney PRESS RELEASE sent out and it mentioned all the episodes with their air dates for November, so it checked out as correct. I get 'Disney on Demand' now, so I can confirm on March 7th (one week in advance) which episode it is. Haylee, the summary for "Sonny get your Goat" is RIDICULOUS and should be REMOVED. And I seem to recall someone making up a summary from an episode in Season 1 that claimed that Sonny received flowers (and no, it was not "With a Chance of Dating". NO SUCH THING HAPPENED! It's just been announced that "Walk a Mile" is the season premiere, so please, let's clear up the confusion. Disney probably aired a "Falling" teaser because it would be the most anticipated episode of the new season (Chad/Sonny "Channy" has a huge fanbase). While I don't know why Disney has made this move, since "Walk a Mile" seems like a horrible season premiere just looking at the title, but it's official. Also, can someone PLEASE stop doing the FAKE summaries? They already DID an episode where Zora sold cookies! It was called Cookie Monsters and it aired November 15th in Season 1.
