Best Foreign Film Award - 92nd Academy awards
[edit]'Parasite' directed by Bong Joon-ho won in this category but is not listed. The reason given by an editor within source comments was The Academy Award for Best International Feature Film is not awarded to a certain individual, although it is accepted by the winning film's director(s) on stage. The country as a whole is nominated and eventually wins the award.
While true, wouldn't it be better to add it to the list and add it as a disclaimer within the article, to not take away any credit from the director?

- @Iamgvj: No, he didn't win the award for Best International Feature Film, he only accepted it on stage as you said. It is not taking any credit away from the director as he did not personally win the award. Credit of this award can be found on the List of accolades received by Parasite page.
- The academy’s Rule 13. D. 3. governing international features states, “The Academy statuette (Oscar) will be awarded to the film and accepted by the director on behalf of the film’s creative talents. For Academy Awards purposes, the country will be credited as the nominee. The director’s name will be listed on the statuette plaque after the country and film title.”

Inchon Award
[edit]He also won the Inchon Award in 2020 in the category of Media and culture but unsure where to add it in this page. If someone could add accordingly it would be much appreciated. ₪RicknAsia₪ 05:16, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
