Halfifax bank run 2020s section
[edit]I have removed the reference to a "bank run" on Halifax bank resulting in branch closures due to its LGBT policies. The only place I can find a reference to the closures being related to LGBT policies is this conspiracy website, which also contains comments stating that all banks are closing branches because banking has moved online.

Here is an article starting their intention to close branches _well before_ they had announced any new policies:

Near Bank Run February 2022 Canada
[edit]On or about February 18, the Liberal Party of Canada gave banks the authority to seize bank accounts without due process while giving said banks immunity from civil actions. Nor were any protocols in place to challenge these seizures during The Freedom Convoy peaceful protests in Ottawa , Canada, the nations' capital. Within an hour of the announcements, ATMs were unable to give out withdrawals of funds actually on hand. Although the public was able to withdraw money the next day, the measures have never been fully repealed. 96.52.154.149 (talk) 02:08, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
