Where is/was Clay College?[edit]

A large number of professional biographies of Gwendolyn Brooks state that she has taught at Clay College of New York. But I cannot find any mention of this college outside of references to Brooks. Does anyone here know anything about a Clay College in New York? I'm assuming it changed names, but I'm lost as to how to track it down. Thanks, Aristophanes68 (talk) 15:03, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
