Image copyright problem with Image:Iar997.jpg
The image Image:Iar997.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

NATO Programs
The NATO programs that Romania is part of (SAC and AGS) should stay in the list (with the appropriate notes) as Romania shares ownership of those vehicles, like the other participating countries. As part of the programs, Romania also has personnel deployed to help operate those vehicles (not yet for AGS, see). Alin2808 (talk) 01:40, 26 November 2021 (UTC)

AS21 Redback
The image from the AS21 Redback is the old variant photo instead of the new AS21 Redback photo. Somebody change it for accuracy. 2A02:2F08:4A1A:4500:3817:BD9A:95D6:DC9 (talk) 18:10, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
- These are the only images we can use. So, unless you have a photo that you took, or find a photo that can meet these requirements for uploading on Commons, then the image stays. You could also request an image from here, and maybe someone can find one. Alin2808 (talk) 21:07, 25 August 2023 (UTC)
Gowind 2500
The Gowind 2500 Corvettes article must be modified or deleted because the Romanian Army canceled the purchase of these corvettes. The fate of the program is not decided but this type of corvette will no longer be purchased. 109.166.139.154 (talk) 12:31, 11 September 2023 (UTC)
- The contract was canceled last month, let's just wait until the end of this month or next month. If nothing else comes up, I'm thinking of replacing the Gowind in the article with the European Patrol Corvette, as this appears to be the solution for the corvette program (from what info we have available right now). Suggestion.
Should we list the Atrom 155mm 6x6 Self Propelled Artillery and Saur vehicle variants? 109.166.137.64 (talk) 14:02, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
- Neither entered service, they remained at prototype stage. This list only includes equipment in active service or in storage, though I added the link to the ATROM next to the one for Saur in the See also section. Alin2808 (talk) 17:23, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
- Also what about Vlah and Stimpex Pa-Ro Md 2018? 109.166.137.64 (talk) 18:33, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
- Vlah is still under development. The Pa Mod. 2018 was only a prototype presented at BSDA 2018, that's it. Never got into production, never entered service, probably went through trials (like the TNC-1, another rifle from BSDA 2018) but we don't have any data on it. Alin2808 (talk) 20:13, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

Robot
What is the name of the robot during the Total Commitment exercise at 2:24 on YouTube. If it is not on the equipment list then it must be added. 109.166.138.178 (talk) 21:23, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- No idea. You can see a better image of it on their website. I tried several times to find out more, and just now I managed to identify the drone as a CFly Faith 2, but so far I found nothing on the "carrier robot". It might be a local design, but I will try to identify it again tomorrow. Alin2808 (talk) 22:21, 1 October 2023 (UTC)
- The closest information I found about the Sauron robot was the US Army X-2 Robot platform. 2A02:2F08:4A05:9000:C87:8BFF:15DA:B463 (talk) 12:22, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
Satelit militar.
România vrea să cumpere propriul satelit militar în 2024. Silo34 (talk) 13:58, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- I know, I saw the interview with Incicas as well. Great thing that someone finally decided to report on it so I won't have to cite the video! Alin2808 (talk) 16:19, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
LCS
Possible purchase of 2 US LCS. LCS Freedom or LCS Independence. Silo34 (talk) 16:08, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- Just rumors for now. No internal ministry source confirmed it as far as I'm aware. Alin2808 (talk) 16:21, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
Vehicles
Engineering vehicles should be added under the Multi purpose vehicles. Silo34 (talk) 18:48, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- No, engineering vehicles are specifically used by military engineers, so they aren't multi purpose. The multi purpose vehicle section contains vehicles that are used in various ways by different units. Alin2808 (talk) 19:01, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
Robot response
The Sauron robot is based on the US Army X-2 robot platform. The Sauron is possible made by Stimpex or Romarm. Silo34 (talk) 18:51, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
- Well WP:PROVEIT. We can't make assumptions, we need sources instead. Alin2808 (talk) 19:01, 8 October 2023 (UTC)
Imagines
We should replace the old images with the new ones for visual accuracy. Silo34 (talk) 20:20, 16 October 2023 (UTC)
- If you find newer images to use that can be uploaded to Commons (as in meet these requirements) then go ahead. Keep in mind that they need to show the equipment in question well, and be of good enough quality to justify the replacement. Alin2808 (talk) 18:59, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
F-16 Differences
The F-16 fighters of the Romanian Air Force bought from Portugal are in the M5.2R configuration. The F-16s bought from Norway are in the M6.5.2 configuration. All aircraft will be upgraded to the M6.6 configuration. Silo34 (talk) 13:43, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Tape number doesn't matter here, all are Block 15 MLU. Alin2808 (talk) 15:17, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
Bayraktar TB2
The first Bayraktar TB2 Shia brought from Turkiye will be present at the 1 December military parade. Silo34 (talk) 13:45, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Cool, we'll see. Alin2808 (talk) 15:17, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
SHORAD-VSHORAD
Posible SHORAD-VSHORAD can be KM-SAM from Hanwha. Silo34 (talk) 13:54, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- We'll keep the ones we have in the article for now. We'll find out who's in the competition after 8 January. Alin2808 (talk) 15:19, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
Self propelled artillery.
Posible wheeled self propelled artillery can be the french Cesar 6X6 or Cesar 8X8. Silo34 (talk) 16:01, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
- Let's just wait for now. More details will come out as the start of the program will get closer. Alin2808 (talk) 16:49, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
