This article lists Scomo as one of the Australian PM's nicknames. This was the nickname Scott Morrison PM tried to give himself but I do not think anybody outside his own political party used it.

The PM who Morrison undermined & eventually stabbed in the back, Malcolm Turnbull, is the only person I have heard use it & that was when Morrison was the treasurer.2001:8003:680B:E01:288C:4C69:E2C:B5A2 (talk) 05:51, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A few sources online use the name "ScoMo" and that is what many people may use in conversation about him. Sources such as Encyclopaedia Britannica, and Wikipedia has a redirect from ScoMo to Scott Morrison. Qwerty123M (talk) 03:36, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone really think the last entry for Anthony Albanese should be listed here?

[edit]

I don't think the last entry for Albanese's nickname would fit here because this dosen't seem to be used very often, it seems like a stupid joke to put that on here and it needs citation. I don't think anyone actually uses this in conversation unless making a stupid joke about Albanese. However I may just be more familiar with the more-commonly used nickname "Albo". I could not find much online about Albanese's nickname(s) if this last entry is indeed included by any credible sources. Qwerty123M (talk) 03:57, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect you don't read much centre to right wing political satire. There are 5 google hits, and this https://chaser.com.au/national/labor-immediately-scraps-plan-for-scomo-style-name-for-anthony-albanese/. However Airbus is more common, and increasingly relevant. How to prevent vandalism?

[edit]

I have noticed a few bad faith edits to this page such as some unsourced additions.

What do we think would be the best way to prevent this persistent vandalism? I have been looking at WP:PROTECT but I'm not sure if any of these such as semi-protection status that I see many pages use may be useful for this page, though I guess it may be up to our interpretation.
