Certainly those are the Canary Islands but none of it are the production of a single volcano, with possible exception of Gran Canary wich is basically a shield volcano made by the ancient Caldera of Tejeda but the own GC have a lot of small volcanoes. Under the conditions of the table, La Gomera can be included is another shield volcano without eruptions since 2 millions year.

I will put another list, correct it if needed. --Bentaguayre (talk) 19:32, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

El Hierro 2011 - the eruption that the authorities tried to claim wouldn't happen until it was almost too late. It caused panic, people thought that the island was about to vanish as per Day and Ward and Day's scenarion for La Palms. Those of us who said the eruption would probably be a strombolian were told by the authorities we didn't know what we were talking about and the eruption was actually a submarine one about 2 km south of Restinga. Even the authorities panicked about a week before the eruption and at one stage the evacuation of the whole island was considered! Yes I do know what I am talking about because I was involved! The Geologist (talk) 13:10, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
