Overdubs of LaBrie's sung parts

[edit]

Hi contributors, the article currently (2015-06-19) says "Most of James LaBrie's vocals were actually re-recorded in a studio" and the source for that is http://faq.dtnorway.com/question?questionid=1061 It seems to be a generally accepted fact on internet forums that the vocals were overdubbed for this album, and a variety of reasons for that can be found, but I haven't been able to find any solid source to confirm that, such as: - a statement of some sort on the CD's artwork (e.g. "vocals recorded at XYZ studio") - a statement from the band or some of its members in interviews or DVD commentaries - a statement from a member of personnel who assisted to the recording of the studio vocals

Therefore I would like to ask you community 2 questions: - should such a statement that seems to be general knowledge although it cannot be backed up by any solid reference be kept in an article? - can forums, fanzines, in this case the FAQ page of the Norway Dream Theater fan-club on which there is no traceability of who wrote what and when, be considered as proper references for an article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kikeo (talkcontribs) 06:00, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
