Post - Scottish Parliament Activities[edit]
I was an acquaintance of Lloyd in the late 1970's & early 1980's when he was in his acting career. He used to go around with an actress (Sheila - can't recall her surname) and occasionally had the odd pint at a pub in William Street, Edinburgh. We had a mutual appreciation of 'Rock' music, and I loaned him my Simple Minds debut album. As well as acting, he narrated at least one documentary film, about the Strathspey Railway at Boat of Garten. How is he earning his crust now? He's no longer an MSP, but he still has to put food on the dinner table.
