Fair use rationale for Image:Lola F1 logo.gif

Image:Lola F1 logo.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Disputing a category

The article is in a category for F1 cars that are never raced. However, the car actually races in one race (the 1997 Australian GP, ending up ill-fated as said in the article and the related article. So I'm disputing the category. The Junk Police (reports|works) 16:48, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

The category is for cars which didn't take part in the actual race. As the Lola did not qualify for the sole race in which it competed, this article is eligible (the same is true for Lotus 88).--Midgrid(talk) 17:40, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

The line at the top of the category "Formula One cars that never raced" says "Formula 1 cars which were designed or even built, but never actually competed." This would exclude the Lola T97/30, Coloni C4 and Dallara 3087, as they both attempted to qualify, but would include the DAMS, Lola T95/30. In my opinion, attempting to qualify is considered as competing in a Formula 1 event (considered as practice, qualifying, and the race).

If you wish to include cars that never took part in a race, then we should include the Life car from 1990 too. Craig Wilson, 12:11, 02 October 2011 (UTC+1)
