Hi Wiki Editors,

I have just joined the wiki community in my capacity as a digital comms manager at Bupa. There are some factual errors in this biography which need updating - we view these an non contentious, factual updates. It would be great if one of your editors could make the changes. I emailed 'info-en-q@wikimedia.org' for support and included a word document with a tracked document. I'm hoping someone will come forward to make the changes - as I don't want to fall foul of the 'Biographies of Living Persons' policy, or the 'Conflict of Interest' policy.

That said, appreciate you guys are busy so I'm also flagging on this page that we'll make the changes ourselves in a week's time. Below are the factual errors we plan to correct:

In sum, the main changes needed are: - Lord Leitch has recently had another child – a son. - He is no longer Chairman of Intrinsic Financial Services - He is now chairman of FNZ ltd - He is no longer an adviser to Lloyds banking group or to the CEO - He set up a foundation in 2017 called ‘What is More’ - we'll include the following footnote as reference: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05l6npj

New draft copy will be:

Alexander Park Leitch, Baron Leitch (born 20 October 1947 in Fife, Scotland)[1] is a British Labour peer and Chairman of Bupa and FNZ Ltd. He was previously Chairman of Intrinsic Financial Services and a Founder Member. Additionally, he was Chairman at Scottish Widows plc, Deputy Chairman at Lloyds Banking Group plc and on the Board of Old Mutual Wealth. He was a Trustee of the Lloyds Banking Group Charitable Foundation, Chancellor of Carnegie College, Chairman of a new think tank called ‘The Centre for Modern Families’ and strategic adviser to a Prince of Wales charity called PRIME. Lord Leitch's past roles include: • Lloyds Banking Group plc (2005-2012) – a board member with a variety of roles including Chairman of Scottish Widows plc, LBG Risk Oversight Committee Chair, LBG Senior Independent Director and finally as LBG Deputy Chairman. • Paternoster UK Ltd (2006-2010) – Non-Executive Director for four years prior to selling the company to Goldman Sachs. • Chairman and Chief Executive Zurich Financial Services UK, Ireland, South Africa and Asia Pacific. • Chairman of the Association of British Insurers. • United Business Media plc (2005-2007) – Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director. • Medical Aid Films – just stepped down as Chairman of this infant and maternal mortality charity. • National Portrait Gallery of Scotland – chaired the raising of £17 million of funds to refurbish the gallery.

We plan to add a line at the end of his biography that reads:

'In 2017 he started setting up the ‘What Is More?’ Foundation, to encourage spiritual and multi-faith debate.' And will include the following footnote as reference: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p05l6npj

We will also reference the birth of his son in the personal life section.

Please do let me know if you see any issue with me making these changes, and as discussed, I sent a word document with the tracked suggested changes.

Thanks guys! Andrew Byron, Bupa Employee — Preceding unsigned comment added by Andrewbyron (talkcontribs) 10:14, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
