A long shot as "Desmarais" is a very common French-Canadian surname, but is he possibly related to Paul Desmarais, also born in Sudbury around the same time and with close ties to the Liberal Party? --Saforrest (talk) 17:19, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
