Slave count[edit]

He owned 30 slaves in 1836 and 52 slaves in 1840.

These slave-counts are popping up everywhere, like some sort of criminal record. If he was a major planter, then these figures seem quite normal, and therefore not notable. Valetude (talk) 18:41, 13 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
