Reversion of unlinkings?

Why reverted? All unlinkings were in accordance with MoS - not to link standalone years (most of the changes), not to link words unless they have a specific relevance to the subject (so no linking of e.g. 'United States' or 'New York'). Colonies Chris 22:26, 21 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
