Proposed deletion

[edit]

Oppose to the proposed deletion on the grounds advocated by User:Kleeblatt187. While they are correct to note that the applicable document linked in the template proposing deletion does not specify Zagreb–Tovarnik railway, the Zagreb–Belgrade railway title proposed by them is likewise not specified by that or any other piece of legislation and is therefore completely arbitrary (why not extend the line to Ljubljana or Rijeka or Istanbul?) and a case of WP:OR. The applicable legislation linked (and its current incarnation here) specifies the Savski Marof-Zagreb-Vinkovci-Tovarnik railway named M1. The only possible way out of this (avoiding WP:OR) is to rename this article to M1 railway (Croatia) and extend its scope to Savski Marof.--Tomobe03 (talk) 22:51, 14 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: Please see the relevant section on my talk page and my comment on Talk:Zagreb–Belgrade railway. I didn't propose deletion of this page here for the sake of deleting it. If things stay as they are concerning Zagreb–Belgrade railway (which I still do not favour) I will be fine for the croatian part with almost any solution different than Zagreb–Tovarnik railway including the "multiple solution" with separate articles for each M102, M103 and M105 (but also M101 and M104) and the "single solution" with M1 railway (Croatia) as suggested by Tomobe03. I would just like to advice that the "single solution" makes it difficult to handle not only M5 and M6 but also R and L lines. So the very best solution for all croatian railway lines (and avoiding WP:OP) might be the "multiple solution". Kleeblatt187 (talk) 21:06, 15 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
