Project
[edit]Please note that this is a project I've just begun, and I intend to continue working on it for the next several days. I'm open to help, but I have something of an outline for this article. I'd love to discuss changes or additions in the talk page.Earthworm Makarov 08:24, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Article still incomplete!
[edit]Hi, I've noticed that there are still several section/subsection headers without any text under them. Can please the key editors complete them, or suggest what was going to be in those sections and which is the source for that info?
Thanks & regards,DPdH (talk) 02:18, 20 November 2009 (UTC)
Name
[edit]i find the rationale given for the name to be pretty thin. i think it's much more probable that it derives from the fact that both of the academic institutions involved in its development are powers in collegiate men's lacrosse.Toyokuni3 (talk) 17:24, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Major Revision to meet request.
[edit]While perusing the early missiles listed as articles on Wikipedia I found the Lacrosse system which was flagged as needing additional citations. Checking my archives I found the US Army's excellent history "History of the Lacrosse Guided Missile System" by the highly esteimed Mary Cagle who wrote many official histories of Army missile programs for the US Army. So I set out to provide the requested "needs additional citations for verification." I could come up with more but that would be overkill. I have actually changed little of whatothers have done aside from deleting the word "ballistic" in the initial description as though some (or many) Lacrosse missiles may have gone ballistic tat was not by intnetion. I have included Kennedy's excellent book in the references though it could add little to the revision of this articcle. Mark Lincoln (talk) 20:38, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
