Maps[edit]

Why don't articles on highways and major roads include maps of the road in question? Not just maps of the surrounding state or county, but the road itself! Saying that a road is located in so-and-so city, or listing the exits just isn't as useful! Klausner (talk) 05:26, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because someone has to make them. Maps (especially quality ones with a free license) don't grow on trees. If you or anyone else would like to help with this effort, check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Maps. —D. Monack talk 06:18, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would make sense to merge this artice with Interstate 87 (New York) since all of the Major Deegan is overlapped with I-87. I mean, there’s no article for the Adirondack Northway, and there’s a small part of that highway that’s not even part of I-87. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.228.135.248 (talk) 20:24, 21 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
