Major Changes to initial article

The original of this article was basically a copy of the history page of the Maldives Police Service </ but I have started a major re-write to make it something closer to Romanian Police. At some point I will put a link into the Maldives page. I know it isn't even close to being proper wikipedia standard but...Any comments? --Alchemist Jack (talk) 21:30, 8 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Having done some research I now realise what a massive can of worms has been opened. Police strike

I've removed some text here [1] about the 2012 police strike that seems to me to be in violation in two ways. First, it makes accusations against a WP:BLP without providing sources; second, it appears to violate WP:NPOV by describing Nasheed's orders as "unlawful", whereas Nasheed and his followers of course dispute that claim. Obviously some section on this is important to include, but we can't do it without reliable sources. Cheers, Khazar2 (talk) 21:33, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
