I've added a source to the list of recipients, and removed the proposed deletion tag.

The source is the competition website, but it should not be hard to find independent sources for each individual winner.

The Malko competition is sometimes claimed to be the most important international competition for young conductors, but I have found no good independent source for this claim - and it is not in the article presently.-- (talk) 09:30, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This article was originally PRODed for deletion. Reason: The provided reference does not support the list of recipients. WP:LISTPEOPLE. The article does not contain sufficient referenced content on the Malko Competition. Most of the entries are still red linked nearly a year ater. Per WP:BLP and WP:LISTPEOPLE, they should either have their own Wikipedia pages, or be adequately sourced to assert notability and the accuracy of the list. Otherwise they may be removed.
