Content Query[edit]

The Infobox states that the capital of "Mambwe District" is "Mambwe", But Unfortunately, I have failed to find that town on various Global Positioning Systems such as Google Maps and OpenStreetMap.

From my understanding, the only notable town in the district is Mfuwe!

So, is it true that "Mambwe District" (or even "Malambo Constituency") actually has a town of the same name within?! Where is it located? GeographicAccountant (talk) 13:17, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, another search on Google Maps has led me to a place named "Saweta", which seems to be the place that houses the council offices. OpenStreetMap also has Saweta on its map.

So, is "Saweta" the place we are referring to as "Mambwe Town" in this article? Is "Saweta" juat the other name for "Mambwe" or is "Saweta" the actual name of the town?

I'm convinced that this "Saweta" settlement is the actual seat of the district rather than what we have currently written in the Infobox. GeographicAccountant (talk) 15:02, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've failed to find any convincing evidence! I've concluded that the name "Mambwe" is only used on the "district" & not really on any town within the land area. Even the name "Malambo" is only used on the constituency and not on any town within the land area. GeographicAccountant (talk) 10:45, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
