Much of the text is based on father's claims

[edit]

I've restored the NPOV tag as the sources are all interviews of the father. I'm not sure why it was removed after the previous addition, but do not remove again without improving the sourcing and using appropriate language to clearly demarcate family's claims from third-party statements. Also it's undue to give so much space to the father's claims. Hemantha (talk) 11:48, 30 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hemantha, could you please specify what part of the text does not clearly demarcate between statements and objective reporting? LΞVIXIUS💬 13:42, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed a lot, but in the suicide section - "sustained abuse" line, "keep talking" clause. Also NHRC comments are all unsourced. Hemantha (talk) 14:03, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The NHRC comments are both sourced and verifiable as per Wikipedia's guidelines if one searches the portal in the link with his name. There's just not a clear way to source it. Also I believe all of his father's statements that you removed were clearly stated as *his statements,* Eg. "According to Manoj," in this edit. I'm of the opinion that it therefore does not violate NPOV. Also WP:NPOV concerns more with weighing the sources available and less with trying to create out of thin air a neutral perspective when the sources don't have one.LΞVIXIUS💬 16:23, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, the link in the ref only takes case or diary numbers and this google query returns nothing so I'm not sure what you mean by if one searches the portal in the link with his name. No amount of "according to"s will diminish the fact that his father is a primary source, so if one weighs the reliable secondary sources, you too can see how this article is lopsided, as found previously by an admin. You've also ignored the strong claims I've highlighted above as specifically lacking attribution. Hemantha (talk) 16:53, 1 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
