Affairs of the Mother

As far as I can tell, there is no evidence that Manon's mother Silvia had an affair with Casanova. In his memoirs (where he usually frankly talks of his affairs), he says nothing of seducing Silvia, in fact noting her chastity and faithfulness to her husband in an age when this was not common. He also says Sylvia was fifty years old at the time, and this might have been a tad old for Casanova, who was only thirty at that point. Pieces 23:17, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
