[edit]Full disclosure: Hansi is/was a family friend -- everyone knows everyone on the Big Island of Hawaii -- so I probably shouldn't be editing this article as a matter of conflict of interest, but this is relevant to the article.
My mom informed me Hansi died very recently, though I don't have the exact date. I saw one of the executors of her estate yesterday, and her residence is now for sale. Since this is classified as "independent research from a primary source", it's not something I can put here other than on the talk page.
If an obit was published, I can't find it online. Her website makes no mention of it, and I haven't seen a Hansi SAIL letter since 2016 (and I knew she was still alive for years after that point).
I think the most definitive thing would be a social security death notification, but that's going to take a bit to be publicly available.
Hang loose, y'all.

[edit]Not sure if she's notable enough for the wiki, but I believe it's aok. I'd add more text and more references later if you want. Sofia Lucifairy (talk) 02:26, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
