Hoax?[edit]

No Ghits on "Mark Ro Anthony Viper Barry", "Barrynator", or the names of singles and albums. Article is likely a joke. -- Merope 14:58, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No.[edit]

Mark Barry really exists. Everything in this article is the truth. You're trying to hide it because you're scared of it, but you won't keep us quiet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nicoliverpool (talkcontribs)

It's not a hoax. Mark Barry is real and the article is true. Admittedly, the singles and albums aspect is a joke, but the rest is real and the quotes are real. He's mentioned in many books and films on the subject of FV. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.143.87.112 (talkcontribs)

The article was originally a stub about a musician; User:Nicoliverpool and a few anonymous users changed it into a lengthy, rambling article claiming Mark Barry to be a football hooligan. Unless you can actually prove the article is true, it just seems to be nonsense. ~Inkiиgton 15:09, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is true, I assure you. There should be a separate page for this Mark Barry and the musician. It was felt that this Mark Barry was more notable than the musician which is why the page was changed. I assure you that the person in question exists and has been mentioned in numerous football violence books and also newspaper reports about football hooliganism. If you researched the subject you would find that it is entirely true. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.143.87.112 (talkcontribs)
First of all, if you want to make drastic changes like that to an article, you need to discuss it on the talk page first. And second, there still isn't proof that this Mark Barry is real. ~Inkiиgton 19:15, 8 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
