Merger proposal

[edit]
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was to merge; the need for a merge is obvious, as it is a duplicate of the subject. -BatteryIncluded (talk) 16:57, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The page NASA's 2022 satellite is a duplicate of the same subject. Needs a merge. BatteryIncluded (talk) 15:05, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:Merging: "If the proposal is obvious (e.g., the mistaken creation of a second page for the same subject under a slightly different name), then a discussion need not even be held." Therefore, I will next merge all usable information and references and close this. BatteryIncluded (talk) 16:28, 9 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hall effect versus Kaufman thruster

[edit]

The current article says the mission would use a NEXT-C thruster, but also says it would use a Hall effect thruster. The NSTAR/NEXT line are Kaufman not Hall effect thrusters. Should this be corrected?

Fcrary (talk) 21:33, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the contracts to develop the concepts call for ion thrusters but they are not specified to be a specific brand. Corrected the article accordingly. Thanks, BatteryIncluded (talk) 02:50, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Funding year by year

[edit]

Can we add each years funding for this mission so we can see how much it is being supported ? Did/Does GAO report on this mission ? - Rod57 (talk) 18:08, 11 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
