Move from Marshall Harvey Stone to Marshall H. Stone or perhaps even Marshall Stone?[edit]

I suggest that we move this article from Marshall Harvey Stone to Marshall H. Stone or perhaps even Marshall Stone, per WP:COMMONNAME. I don't think "Marshall Harvey Stone" is how this mathematician is commonly known. – Tea2min (talk) 18:13, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

M. H. Stone is his typical author name on papers. Marshall H. Stone appears on his National Medal of Science and his Josiah Willard Gibbs Lecture, neither of which have their recipients follow a strict name pattern. IMU Presidency name alternates between M. H. Stone and Marshall H. Stone. Marshall Harvey Stone appears on his AMS Presidency, though all the earlier half AMS presidents have no initialization. Marshall H.
