Link needed to main article
[edit]It seems that this link isn't working: http://www.newstatesman.com/200112170032 It is a link to the main article that made Bright famous (or notorious). Does someone have an archived version? It would be useful to be able to read this controversial article. Jason from nyc (talk) 14:29, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
Orientationalist
[edit]I have deleted the word "Orientationalist" from the "Career" section. Not being familiar with this word, I did a wikisearch; this article was the solitary result. So I did a websearch; this article was the top result, and the other leading results didn't mention the School of Oriental and African Studies.
It could be that the editor that used that word meant "orientalist". But it was capitalized, as if it were the name of some notable movement or society; "orientalist" is an ordinary noun, and doesn't need a capital letter. At the very least, the word should have a red wikilink.
I hate seeing Wikipedia mistakes bleeding into the rest of the web (and the rest of the world), but so far this one doesn't seem to have bled too much. MrDemeanour (talk) 21:08, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
