Section blanking by BillMpls
[edit]The edits by BillMpls are unhelpful. This edit deleted all of the content pertaining to Stark's leadership of the ACLU and removed reference to Stark being Jewish. That should not be done. Further, do you allege that Stark is not Jewish? On this point, I cite the book Jews in Minnesota Politics by Bob Latz. On page 110-111, Latz says, "Other members of the Jewish community who were active in the civil rights movement in the 1960's included Max Fallek of Temple Israel; Marvin Davidoff, Matthew Stark and Jack Mogelson. Mogelson, a teamster union organizer, and Stark were also active in the leadership of the Minnesota Civil Liberties Union." So it seems that not only is Stark Jewish, he was one of the four most important Jews in the civil rights movement in Minnesota. Since author Latz is a former state legislator, I suspect he knows Stark personally.
If necessary, I can find more evidence in support of this point.2605:6400:1:FED5:22:F0FC:90CA:595 (talk) 17:44, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
