More footnotes
[edit]This is a well-written article, however it needs much more footnotes. It particular about awards and other outstanding claims. Staszek Lem (talk) 16:42, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
I just started working on the article.. I'll be doing minor Wikipedia related clean-up, not rewriting. I cannot find the awards on the Web. One reason is that they were given so long ago. I may try to contact the award granting group to see how to confirm.Greenwayfriend (talk) 22:32, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
Footnotes - Bagit!
[edit]Current footnote 43 is related to Bagit! section. However, the link in the footnote provides no relevant information. Neither the title "Bagit!" nor the author is mentioned. Therefore I plan to remove the footnote. The book is identified in the Bagit! section by title, author and publisher. Is a reference needed to some authoritative site, such as WorldCat? WorldCat entry for Bagit!. Is there a preferred style for footnotes for authored works as opposed to cited works? Greenwayfriend (talk) 22:32, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
