McLain is a small town located in Greene County, Mississippi. McLain’s population is around 100 to 200 hundred people. The ratio of men to women is 220 to 212. McLain is the home of the rams; it includes one school, one post office, four churches, one gas station, and one club. The racial makeup of the town is half and half. McLain MS is a very poor and dead town; the average income ranges from $15,000 to 30,000 a year. At least 35% of McLain, MS residents are affected by STDs that range from Chlamydia, Herpes, and HIV that number is steadily increasing. McLain is the home of WNBA player Ruthie Bolton; it is also the home of the world renowned gospel singers the Bolton Brothers.
