Lead

[edit]
  • festivals before commencing the tour. She communicated → festivals before commencing the tour, and went on to communicate (to avoid clipped sentences)
  • critical acclaim with critics complimenting → comma before "with"

Infobox

[edit]
  • ALT text for the cover

Background and development

[edit]
  • she performed at Osheaga in Montreal. Tove Lo served → she performed at Osheaga in Montreal, with Tove Lo serving
  • made other appearances including Roskilde in Denmark → made other appearances including at Roskilde in Denmark
  • Link "Coachella"
  • a live even engineering firm → is a "t" missing in "even" ?
  • Ella walks away, leaving the party going on behind her. → wirte [Lorde] instead of "Ella" since some readers may not know it's the singer's real name
  • for each song and the feelings associated with them → for each song to mirror her feelings associated with them
  • Really great work here

Concert synopsis

[edit]
  • Link "encore"
  • Six dancers were on stage → this either works as "onstage" or "on the stage"
  • facing the audience with a spotlight shined on her → facing the audience with a spotlight shining on her
  • I see only a part of the content here is actually supported by the references given, but I assume this is okay since describing synopsis dosn't necessarily need surcing (e.g. Rebel Heart Tour)
  • Two female dancers performed during "Buzzcut Season" They → A full stop is missing
  • One dancer performed inside the container → A dancer performed inside the container
  • During "Ribs" the six → comma before "the"
  • A video of Lorde spray painting a car → A video of Lorde spray-painting a car
  • As the outro played Lorde left the stage → comma before "Lorde"
  • Quotes from American journalist Joan Didion's 1968 essay collection book Slouching Towards Bethlehem were shown on a screen during an interlude → Where is this exatcly sourced in the reference??
  • Lorde was shown in silhouette → What should this mean?
  • Okay, now that I looked over the section again, I sugges you leave out refs here completely since they always only halfway cover what's stated. Just use them for the quotes and other information that has to be sourced (such as the Slouching Towards Bethlehem usage). Quotes that can't be sourced should be removed

Reception

[edit]
  • with critics praising its stage design, Lorde's stage presence and the intimate setting → no need for this; readers can conclude for themselves once they read the section
  • Echoing similar judgments → "thoughts" would be a better choice here
  • I edited the tables by myself
  • below average → below-average
  • a promoter for the tour also offered free → comma after "tour"
  • Lorde ranked 122 → Lorde was ranked number 122

Opening acts

[edit]
  • No issues

Set list

[edit]
  • The "Notes" is somewhat confusing to me as it doesn't include all covers she performed during the tour... I also read she covered "In the Air" and another song of Kanye's. This should include all covers she performed

Controversies

[edit]
  • Really great work here, nothing I can complain about

Shows

[edit]
  • The "Date" row needs to be "!scope="row"" -ed
  • Why don't we have a source for the first "North America", and everything after the second "North America"?

Other things

[edit]
  • 41.5% is a bit too much of copyviolation
  • Most of the assertions made in this article are supported by the respective sources given, excluding some exceptions mentioned above

Outcome

[edit]
@Cartoon network freak: Took care of all your comments, except the copyviolation and the tour citations. The reason the copyviolation shows over 41% is due to this quote: "The Lorde tour was more of everything...". Lorde never announced separate European leg tour dates during the final months of touring. They were festivals she played at. Those dates are individually sources in the Notes section. Also, she never covered "In the Air Tonight" on tour; it was part of a BBC Live Lounge performance she did. However, I did include the Kanye's "Runaway" interpolation during her "Liability" performance. I got a source from Coup de Main regarding the Joan Didion quote she used during one of her interludes. Not many media sites covered this on their reviews. De88 (talk) 22:50, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
While videos of her appear online covering "In the Air Tonight", no reliable source reports this. I cannot cite it. I added citations for her Russia tour dates. De88 (talk) 23:07, 19 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@De88: Passing — Everything seems to have been solved, thus I can promote this to GA status. Is there any chance you could also review one of my GANs? Just disregard if you're too busy... Greets and congrats; Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:20, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
