[edit]I have merged the content from the separate articles for the books in the series (all of which were stubs) into this article. More detail on the 2nd and 3rd books in the series might be a good idea. DES 30 June 2005 15:38 (UTC)
Updates to Pages associated with the series
[edit]I've made some additions and revisions to the main page, and I plan on continuing to expand and improve the article however possible.
Mainly, though, I'd like to draw everyone's attention to the newly crafted articles on the three individual books in the series (The Dragonbone Chair, Stone of Farewell, and To Green Angel Tower). I did the best I could, but I feel that all of them could use improvements and additions to the plot summaries. If you can, please improve them as necessary. - Runch 04:29, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
- Is it really necessary to have separate articles for each book? This is a trilogy and one big story, after all. --dllu 21:33, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
- The Lord of the Rings, the Wheel of Time, and various other series are also just "one big story." Sometimes, however, the "one big story" can have sufficient need to be split apart when it comes to discussing and describing them. I think this series is a reasonable candidate for such a decision. --Brandon (talk) 20:48, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:The Dragonbone Chair.jpg
[edit]The image Image:The Dragonbone Chair.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Dark Fantasy
[edit]I was just looking at the page about Dark Fantasy and it said that while High Fantasy and dark do not normally but mix Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn is the best example for the mix. But then this page clames that is Epic Fantasy. It's just a mix-up I understand but having never read the books I cannot comment myself. Sorry if I am Bothering anyone by asking this but if something could be done about it... well you just for clarification's sake. Thank you for your time.Applechair (talk) 04:59, 16 September 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Applechair (talk • contribs) 06:32, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Why are you wasting your time with this nonsense? 72.199.160.215 (talk) 14:37, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
- All these fantasy genres tend to mix up quite a bit. MS&T is Epic Fantasy, High Fantasy, and a bit of Dark Fantasy. I don't know what the best way would be to clarify things in the article, unless you just listed all genres it fell within. However, with that being said, to the guy above me (cleverly named 72.199.160.215), was it quite as large a waste of his time to ask that question as it was for you to respond about such a waste of time without then offering any useful or relevant information? --Brandon (talk) 19:46, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
Well I was just wondering what was what. I have read more 50 Fantasy books and wanted to know something about this one - as a book that I may read sometime soon - and I saw the part about the sub-genre "mix-up".Applechair (talk) 06:50, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
Just removed
[edit]I just removed a big chunk of this article, specifically where it mentions what races are like what earthly races. There was no reliable sources tied to that, therefore it's WP:OR and can't be in the article. (I actually agreed with most of it :) ) К Ф Ƽ Ħ Speak 16:36, 28 July 2017 (UTC)
Troll-like Qanucs?
[edit]I say that Qanucs are more Dwarf-like than Troll-like... Iivarius (talk) 00:08, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
Film adaptation
[edit]"On August 8, 2020, Warner Bros. purchased the film rights to the book trilogy and production is currently in developmental planning."
Is there a source for this claim?
