If anyone is interested joining this Season article campaign, Memphis is still on the list as needing articles created. Mjs32193 (talk) 02:03, 15 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Split proposed

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
Consensus to split out the history section as History of Memphis Tigers football. @1736617483O and UW Dawgs: Please feel free to go ahead with the page split. I am happy to help, but it would be great if one of you could make an attempt at the summary to be retained here. Felix QW (talk) 12:48, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The "History" section of this article is suffering from severe growing pains, and specifically WP:RECENTISM. The CFB project generally addresses some of these issues via creation of a History of Memphis Tigers football article per Category:History of college football by team norms. UW Dawgs (talk) 21:44, 29 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. 1736617483O (talk) 23:58, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
