Swedish flag

[edit]

The reference to Swedish is ambiguous [olitically motivaed and POV as it was stated, I completed the phrase with the source : i.e. the public R&TV broadcaster newsdesk, and added a resaon for that qualification, I also added the oppositions qualification, to the complete picture . This was reverted by Lynwood, making the statement POV again, L motivated that the staement it was ok as it was. That is not sufficient reason to remove correctly referenced and explaining the framing caracter of the statement , I removed the complete statement for the reason that itś POV (framing) , polically motivated and NE--DerekvG (talk) 13:36, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I see no POV issue. It is a simple fact that someone dreamt up this nickname for the new coalition. It is not in any way offensive - it merely refers to the colours of the principal parties involved, which happen to be those of the Swedish flag. The picture and its caption record something that actually happened. LynwoodF (talk) 22:47, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Lynwood. It is important to include this in the article since the media often refers to the coalition as "Swedish". I follow Belgian politics a lot and I have never heard about the "Ukrainian" reference you added; maybe once at best. I really don't see any POV issue here. Even more, the wording you added about "ultra-liberal[s] and ultra-nationalists of the Ukraine government" sounds more like POV to me. SPQRobin (talk) 00:31, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It's commonly simply referred to as "le suédois" in the francophone press. I have never heard "Ukrainian" either. There's actually an article on the coalition's name at RTBF here. "Kamikaze" also appears to be a common name! @DerekvG:, care to explain why you think Swedish is POV? I'm very bemused... —Brigade Piron (talk) 08:20, 23 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fall of cabinet - rename

[edit]

The Michel government has fallen with the resignation of the NVA ministers. A new minority government under Michel (Michel II) is being formed. Thus this page should be moved to Michel I Government but that already exists as a redirect page. How can this be done in an orderly fashion? -- fdewaele, 9 December 2018, 12:14 CET.

The cabinet has not fallen. Five cabinet members have left and those departments were reattributed. The Prime Minister did not submit his resignation to the King and no new election is called. Please refrain from original research. Wakari07 (talk) 17:08, 10 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
