WP:NSEASONS says articles for seasons which contain only stats and lists should usually be redirected to the relevant team; as such I've proposed that 2012 Missouri Tigers baseball team be moved here. However, I'm not 100% sure that the guideline's requirement that no sourced prose can be created is applicable – input is very welcome. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 15:01, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose College baseball is closer in notability to college football than college fencing. The season itself is notable in that the team made a postseason appearance and won a conference tournament. I do think more prose would be nice and will work to add some, but the level is similar to other individual season pages. See, e.g. 2012 South Carolina Gamecocks baseball team. Can I take it, then, that you think this article could in future consist mainly of well-sourced prose? If so, then my concerns are met. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 17:00, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - Per section of WP:NSEASONS reading "A season including a post-season appearance (or, if there is no post-season competition, a high final ranking) in the top collegiate level is often notable." Missouri's membership in a premier conference, whose championship it won in 2012, places it under the "often." Kithira (talk) 16:49, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - This individual season page represents competition at the highest level of collegiate baseball, including a postseason appearance. As a conference championship season, this article is certainly notable (WP:NSPORT#Individual seasons) enough to merit a standalone article. Billcasey905 (talk) 22:18, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
