[edit]Monivea Castle is not known locally as a tomb. The tomb is a Mausoleum , built by Kathleen Ffrench for her father, Robert Ffrench at the turn of the 20th century. Monivea castle does exist, & what remains today is a tower house built by the O'Kelly's & sold to The Ffrench family in 1609. Sinéad.
- Readers should beware that the BBC page cited is wrong in many details - e.g. Catherine instead of Kathleen ffrench. And they were a Catholic family, not Protestants. I'm including detail from an Irish Times article published today.Red Hurley (talk) 14:46, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
