The result of the move request was: page moved, with history-merge. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:32, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Montgomery Ward & Co. Catalog House → Montgomery Ward Company Complex —
- Information was merged from Montgomery Ward Company Complex into Montgomery Ward & Co. Catalog House, and the former was redirected to the latter. However, the merge should have gone the other way around. The Catalog House is only one building, while there are multiple buildings in the Complex. Zagalejo^^^ 23:19, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
- If so, we will likely have to history-merge page Montgomery Ward & Co. Catalog House (except its first 5 edits) to page Montgomery Ward Company Complex. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 05:42, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
- It seemed like a redundant page to me at first. Now that you point out the difference, I see why he created a separate page. Do we want to have separate pages?--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 18:48, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
- Well, I don't really think it's necessary to have two different articles. If we had lots of info on the Catalog House, then maybe we could justify a spinout, but I think the best way to organize the information we currently have is a single article. Zagalejo^^^ 18:52, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
- If I recall, the merge to this article was because this one was started first. I did not understand the nuances of the names. You understand the topic better than I. Do as you feel is best.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:10, 11 April 2010 (UTC)
