Untitled

The prose in this article was pretty ambiguous and meandering; it needed help. Further, some of the geographical and historical information extracted from the 1911 Encyclopædia Britannica, and/or my interpretations of the confusing text, may be inaccurate. I've rewritten the text, but this article still needs a hand from someone with a more intimate knowledge of the subject matter. – Ringbang 19:56, 22 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
