Recreation area article merged into this one?

Since the Mount Edziza Recreation Area is no longer current, it could be merged into this article?

The recreation area wasn't part of the park, not to mention the content about mineral exploration would be off topic in this article since it didn't happen in the park. Also keep in mind that there are some articles about former provincial parks as well. Just because something no longer exists doesn't mean it shouldn't have its own article.
