Move discussion

[edit]

It should be moved to Kazdağı per actual common name. --Why should I have a User Name? (talk) 09:04, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Desiderata

[edit]

Geography: Location, dimensions, map, ethnography, economy, geologic history, streams, more flora and fauna, access including any famous paths.

Cult significance: this aspect surely goes back to prehistory. Cult centers, objects.

History: prehistory, Hittite records, people of Trojan War times and after, the Phrygians, etc., post-classical ethna, the arrival of the Turks.Dave 10:27, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mythology: citations needed on all the characters from mythology. The mention of the story should be as brief as possible with links to its article; otherwise, we are in for a very large article.Dave 10:51, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Luqqa

[edit]

"*In the Trojan war it may have been the home of the Luqqa, who were allies of the Trojans."

I removed this statement for now. The author probably means Lukka but no source is given. That is not a classical spelling.Dave 08:48, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
