Protection?

[edit]

There seems to be a small rash of vandalisms to this page, most particularly in the reception part of it. Maybe put a protection on it against vandals? Tokyogirl79 (talk) 09:59, 1 October 2008 (UTC)Tokyogirl79[reply]

Any connection whatever to the Aimee Mann album of the same name? Since that album already inspired one film it wouldn't be too surprising, but there's also Dane Cook's reputation to consider. Asat (talk) 02:16, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

This article should be merge with My Best Friend's Girl (2008 film). They are two articles about the same film. The film changed titles during production so two articles (one with each title) were accidentally created. Djbj16 (talk)

budget source

[edit]

Jesus Christ - $65 million budget?! Get a source on that 'cause I'm calling bull.ChesterG (talk) 02:17, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I concur, IMDB lists the budget at $45 million and this article[1] lists the budget in the "$30 million range". Note that the article refers to the film's shooting title but it is clear that this is the film to which they are referring. 208.179.66.68 (talk) 08:23, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ending?

[edit]

The "predictable" story would have a predictable ending of Cook and Hudson ending up together, and Biggs scoring with some random girl briefly featured throughout the movie - is this what happens?--Johnnycyberpunk (talk) 13:48, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Of course. All Hallow's Wraith (talk) 06:27, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plot

[edit]

This plot description is TERRIBLE. I never have seen the movie, or else I would fix it myself. Will someone that has seen the movie please, please, please fix it?! It sounds like a very poor English paper by a middle school student... SkittlzAnKomboz (talk) 21:49, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cars Song

[edit]

Since there was a song by the American rock band The Cars called "My Best Friend's Girl", should this article be headed by a disambiguation note saying "For The Cars' song, see My Best Friend's Girl (song)? Vorbee (talk) 20:56, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
