2007[edit]

This page is not 'blatant advertising'. It explains what the UK National Grid Service is, and how researchers can access it.

It is currently being used by UK academics to further human knowledge and better the World we live in. Recent research which has used the computing resources are:

Real-time visualisation of blood flow through the brain; Ion channel simulations and free energy calculations; Understanding electrical defibrillation of the heart.

Case studies and references to papers which cite use of the NGS can be found at http://www.ngs.ac.uk/research-papers.

OK, but the remaining issues were a severe dating problem. It was written to promote something that was in progress at the time, but has now come and gone. So at the least needs to be redone into past tense, and moved its most recent name. W Nowicki (talk) 19:26, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
