Listings not coming up in NRIS search?[edit]

Port Washington Narrows Bridge and Hotel Sidney do not come up in a search of the NRIS database.[1] I think these may be here because they are listed at nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.com.[http://nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.com/WA/Kitsap/state.html] But the lists on that website include properties that have not officially been listed on the NRHP. Can anyone provide a source to confirm that these sites are actually listed on the Register? --sanfranman59 (talk) 07:05, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In the NRIS database, Port Washington Narrows Bridge has code DR="DATE RECEIVED/PENDING NOMINATION" and Hotel Sidney has code RN="REMOVED FROM NATIONAL REGISTER". You can see these codes using the Elkman NRHP infobox generator if u select the checkbox for "delisted" (which seems to mean any other codes besides current listing). And the key to the codes has been added to wp:NRHP article recently. So currently it looks like neither should be included in a main table of current NRHP listings, but they could be included in a separate table of associated sites. (For the RN one, it is also possible that there is an NRIS listing error of omission, as has turned out to be the case for some other reported DR ones which have been verified to be NRHP-listed by documentation in the National Register's Weekly listings, only just not entered into the NRIS database.) doncram (talk) 07:08, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
