Kermine = "Karmana"?

[edit]

Under the History heading, the former name Kermine is followed by "Karmana" in parentheses, enclosed in quotation marks. The apparent internal link redirects back to the Navoiy page. Information about these former names would be relevant on this page, especially since the current name was given only in 1958 when, according to the page at present, "the city was re-founded" (??). -- Deborahjay (talk) 06:04, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The link now follows to a Karmana wiki page. If these are really the same place, should not the pages be merged into a single one? If they are different places then this link should be changed and more detail about their interrelationship added in both pages please. MWchat (talk) 15:48, 15 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
